Born 1959 in Dortmund, the son of an actor
couple, he grew up directly with the theater and acting. As
a child he was already in productions such as "Pinocchio"
with the City Theater Dortmund (1965). His training as an
actor, he received from his father Hans Joachim Krätke
(Acting, Camera Acting, Fencing 1965-1984), Dirk Hardebeck
(Acting 1965-1970) and various training courses in
subsequent workshops with Petra Gallasch (The Studio, Inc.,
Los Angeles) and the renowned Hollywood acting coach Larry
Moss. After further professional training as a photographer
and advertising business, he worked alongside his acting
work, including the field of radio as a cultural editor
(over 100 separate shows) and then in film distribution
companies as Press Secretary (Highlight Film Distribution
GmbH), Marketingcoordinator (Buena Vista International, a
subsidiary of the Disney Company) and Marketing Director
(Concorde - Castle Rock / Turner) until he finally made
independently, and founded an agency. This agency has worked
for leading companies in the entertainment industry
(including Bayerisches Fernsehen, Hasbro, Baumhaus media,
Twentieth Century Fox, Warner Bros, etc.). |

Since 2003, dedicated exclusively Olaf Krätke back to his
work as actor, director and author. On stage he was also in
plays and musicals such as "Dream island Nockherberg" (BR,
2006) and "State Circus Nockherberg" (BR, 2007), "Our Town",
"The Misunderstanding", "Spring Awakening", "Ronja, the
Robber's Daughter", "Faust 2", "Turandot or the Congress of
the Whitewashers", "The Storm", "Little Shop of Horrors",
"Bullets over Broadway", "Misery" to see etc.. He has also
collaborated November 1998 to February 2010 to nearly 1,500
performances of "The Hedghog File", a play for which he is
responsible as a co-author. As an author he wrote including
the eponymous children's book (Middelhauve Verlag).
Furthermore, he wrote also short stories and children's
books such as "Reindeer Fredegar a fairy tale", "The Grey
Wanderer" and "Miro - The Black Mountain". He is also well
known to the public through numerous television roles
including "Wilsberg - Crime and Punishment" (ZDF, 2005), the
TV series "Friends Forever" (SAT 1 TV, directed by Sönke
Wortmann, 2005), "Gwendolyn" (Bayerisches Fernsehen, 2006),
"Bully sucht die starken Männer" (Pro 7 TV, 2008), "Sleeping
Beauty" (ARD, 2009), "Pro Sieben Märchenstunde" (Pro 7,
2010) to see and play on the side of Fritz Wepper and Janina
Hartwig since 2006, the recurring role of the physician Dr.
Paul Maertens in the ARD series "Um Himmels Willen". In
addition, he played countless roles in short films, but also
on the big screen like "Adam and Eve" (2004), "Wie Licht
schmeckt" (2005, Co-producer: BR), "Blood ties" (2006), "GG
19" (2006), "The Room in the Mirror" (2007) and Austrian
cinema comedy "Schlimmer geht’s nimmer"(2008). In the fall
of 2007 he was the first time for a Hollywood production
before the camera: "Testing Life". His biggest success came
with the adventure comedy "Vicky the Viking" in which he was
directed by star director Michael "Bully" Herbig, he
embodied the main role of the Urobe. More than 5 million
thrilled cinema audiences have seen it and the film received
many awards. Krätke Olaf also was honored for his
performance in this film with the "Comedy Award 2009" slips
in the summer of 2010 he returns to the role of the lovable,
but fortified old Urobe for the great movie "Vicky and the
treasure of Gods - 3D".

The 1969 is in Kaufbeuren in Bavaria, born Thomas Garmatsch
been active for almost twenty years in the field of theater
education with children. In the form of theatrical
productions he brings children and adolescents aged 5-17,
the medium of theater and the creative implementation of
ideas more closely. He was educated at the College of Social
Pedagogy in Krumbach.
He founded and directs the Cultural Workshop of the City of
Kaufbeuren, which was awarded in 1996 with the „Culture
Award“ of the city of Kaufbeuren. In recent years, caused
countless theater productions with children and young
people.
By Olaf Krätke he worked inter alia together with the
musical production "The Little Shop of Horrors" and
"Somewhere in Europe“ (with over 100 children and adults),
the children's play "Anna and the King of the fairy tale
was" and "Mr. Storm and his worm". In 1999, Thomas Garmatsch
directed the theater production of "Bullets over Broadway"
of the theater companies, the big circus project "Carnival
of dreams" in which all the children of the cultural
workshop have been involved, "Misery" and "One in the face".
He was co-director of "The Hedgehog File" and is the
illustrator of the eponymous children's book, published in
2001 Middelhauve Verlag. |
