In
1998, conceived the actor, writer and director Olaf Krätke
and theater educator Thomas Garmatsch at the initiative of
the Rotary Club of Kaufbeuren a violence prevention project
for kindergartens and primary schools (up to and including
the fourth class) and calling it „The Hedgehog File“.
The project consists of a play that Olaf Krätke and Thomas
Garmatsch wrote together and which is played in the
educational institutions in various classes and
kindergarten. Then the actors talk to the children run
about.
The District Offices Ostallgäu, Unterallgäu, Upper Bavaria,
Landsberg Weilheim-Schongau, Cham, Amberg-Sulzbach,
Regensburg, Ansbach, Augsburg-Land, City of Wolfsburg, City
of Kaufbeuren, West Allgäu and the Social Department of the
Berlin Senate, the Rotary Club of Kaufbeuren, the Rotary
Relief Ansbach, the Lions Club Lindau-West Allgäu, Kiwannis
International (Germany) and the ensemble Sonola organize
this prevention project entitled: "Violence against and
among children and adolescents".
The opening can form regional information sessions, parents'
evenings and special performances, in the course of which
the play is performed. Then in kindergartens and primary
schools, and interested in selected cities and their
surrounding areas, the prevention project "The Hedgehog
File“ is carried out.
This project gives the children according to age groups in
the classrooms and group rooms, the issue of sexual violence
in particular and the "violence" in all other forms closer
and sensitized them for that. Parallel to contact relief
organizations (such as "The Net", etc.), offices,
professionals (such as child psychologists, therapists such
as Susann Tabatabai-Schweizer, a Gestalt-therapist etc.) are
kept ready to know the project and seeking help supervise
and act as a focal point for information and advice . This
is true for teachers, kindergarten and Hortpersonal as well
as parents and children.
The violence prevention project sees itself as an emotional
"door openers". Closely related to the subject matter of the
play can develop the facilities then the content and design
(eg, paint pictures, make action and role plays, essays
design, video projects, photo projects, etc.). These
regional results are made available in a public exhibition,
which was eg already held in the city of Kaufbeuren and
other cities with great success.
